BOW MAKING WORKSHOP
Bow-making course.
This bowmaking workshop / course will take you through the important steps in making your own English longbow.
This version is about making a Hickory self bow, an English Longbow.
very similar to our trilaminate Longbows.
At the end of the weekend, you will have (apart from blisters, a painful back, and a grin from ear to ear) a fully tillered and working bow.
Included are all the raw parts, usage of tools, breakfast, lunch, diner (you can sleep in our showroom if need be), and a small ;-) drink after we are done.
The workshop will go ahead when we get more than 4 participants (6 is max). Otherwise, your reservation will move towards the next available bow-making weekend.
We start Saturday morning at 09.00, ends Sunday at 17.00.
